The Mercury bed is fully upholstered in a beautiful silver crushed velvet. The crushed velvet fabric is soft to the touch and looks spectacular when the light glistens and shimmers against it. The Silver colour is neutral and can be matched with many different bedroom colours to suit your taste.
The practical side of this bed is the large storage area that is beneath the mattress, this is known as ottoman storage. The footend of the bed frame lifts up giving access to the generously sized storage compartment, perfect for linen, towels and bedding. There are two small crushed velvet tabs to aide lifting the mattress up, the gas pistons take the majority of the weight and little force is needed to close the ottoman.
The platform base provides ventilation and support to your mattress. The platform base also means that anything that is stored beneath the mattress and base will not become covered in dust.
There is a maximum mattress weight of 55KG and it is strongly recommended to remove everything (other than bedding) from the bed when accessing the storage area. The Mercury ottoman bed can be easily assembled using the instructions provided.
